Our Staff
Our team's philosophy is to work as partners with parents to provide a meaningful learning environment for children, where they will develop emotionally, physically, socially, intellectually and creatively.
Miss Rachelle
Rachelle Aquino earned her Early Childhood Education Certification & Post Basic Infant & Toddler Training at Langara College . For the last 9 years she nurtured the children at UBC Child Care Services where education outdoors is embraced on a daily basis. Rachelle loves to engage the children's curiosity and enthusiasm with the wonders of their world and gears the daily programming towards their interests. She continues to upgrade her own education to stay current with the latest in early childhood education.
Miss Tara
Tara Watson has over 20 years of experience working with preschool aged children, most recently at a community preschool in Burnaby. She received her ECE Certification from Centennial College in Toronto. Tara is known for her teaching excellence and ability to get down to the children's level and listen. She has a nurturing and lovable personality. We are fortunate to have two qualified head teachers in our classroom at all times to provide extra support to all Stepping Stone students.
